Our client's creative process incorporates both physical and virtual design to produce an integrated and transformative guest experience. However the tools that we use to design these experiences - 3D modeling, media production, physical prototyping - do not merge the two disciplines into a cohesive approach. The Tangible Design Lab is intended to bring new and innovative tools to the design process with the goal of merging the physical with the virtual.

Visualizing sports performance

We worked with global sports equipment manufacturers to create apps that visualize data collected by sensors. The sensors wirelessly upload the running gait data into an app or a retail environment.  This visualized data is able to give consumers insight into performance and equipment.

A day at the park

Dojo was asked to design an entirely new, yet familiar, interface that would adhere to the brand aesthetic while creating a user experience tailored to a new platform. Despite being asked to design only for the new platform, we opted to work closely with our clients to ensure we’d deliver a product that would integrate with existing devices and platforms to create a cohesive digital ecosystem. To the user, this was a seamless experience where one platform enhanced the other through a scalable user experience and the standardization of a visual design.

In-flight Advertising & Monetization Modeling

In order to help some of the new network companies that were working in “connected flight” understand existing and future growth opportunities with in-flight internet and entertainment solutions, we were the first to perform an in-depth research and analysis of the in-flight advertising market and begin to apply that to other domains such as real-time content syndication in connected car and even “connected living.”
